Dinosaur Bone and Petrified wood set in Sterling Silver

This stunning piece is crafted from a combination of 175 million year old agatized Dinosaur bone from Utah and "Cholla" wood, a form of petrified wood where chrysocolla replaced the petrie wood and then agate. The pieces were joined using a technique known as intarsia. The thick Sterling Silver setting was forged from a smelted Silver Dollar.
